We’ve misplaced our calibration certificates; can we get new copies?
Yes, call our office with your company name and the scale serial numbers and we can send you PDF copies. Printed hard copies may incur an additional administration fee.

 

 

Does my Weighbridge Need Certification, Calibration or Verification?
There are special checks, certifications and validations that often need to be done before you can use your weighbridge for the purpose you need it for. However, these requirements and responsibilities depend on the purpose and application of the weighbridge. For a full explanation, read our blog post here.

Can I have the calibration procedure for my scale?
You will need a qualified calibration engineer with accurate test weights to calibrate your scales. We do not give out these procedures to customers or end users, but we are happy to calibrate them for you. We can send a qualified engineer if you are within our catchment area or you can ship your scales to us at our address found on the contact us page.

 

 

Are the medical scales listed on your website suitable for hospital use?
Yes, all the medical scales listed on our website are Class III Approved, meaning they are suitable for use in hospitals.

 

 

I can’t see the product I’m looking for on your website, do you have more to choose from?
Yes, we have many different scales from many different suppliers and manufacturers, please call us on 01243 697372 and let us know the model/type of scale you are looking for and we’ll be happy to help

 

 

We have a service contract with you, do I need to call and book in a date for your engineer to visit?
Our engineer will contact you to pencil in a visit on the month your scales are due to be serviced. If you have a specific date you need the scales done by then please call to let us know and we will make sure this is written on the job sheet.

 

 

Do you take card payments?
Yes, we can take card payments over the telephone or we can send you an invoice with a SagePay link for you to complete.

 

 

We haven’t done any business with you before; do we need to pay upfront?
Yes, to open an account with us you will need to pay on Proforma invoice before we can process your order. After this, any future orders will be invoiced on our normal 30-day terms.

 

 

What areas do you cover for servicing and repairs?”
For on-site calibration or repair we cover Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Dorset, Berkshire and South London / M25 border.
If you are out of our catchment area we are happy for you to ship your scales to our unit in Chichester, West Sussex.
